Stone, marble and metallic effect glass splashbacks

The look of marble, concrete, brick, slate, wood grain or brushed gold without the weight, sealing or cost of the real material. These are high resolution prints of natural and industrial textures sealed onto the back of toughened safety glass, so you get the texture visually and a perfectly smooth, wipe clean surface physically.

The collection covers grey and gold veined marble, black granite, dark and cloudy concrete, black bricks, venetian plaster in black, blue and gold, dark wood grain, leather, linen and a range of gold finishes. All are available in standard sizes and dispatched in 1 to 3 working days.

Unlike real stone, a printed panel will not stain from red wine or oil, does not need sealing and is heat resistant behind any hob.

Matching textures to the kitchen

Marble and concrete effects suit modern kitchens with handleless units. Brick and wood grain suit industrial and rustic schemes. Gold and venetian plaster add warmth to dark green, navy or black kitchens. If your worktop is already a strong pattern, choose a subtler texture for the splashback so the two do not compete.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it look like real stone?

From normal viewing distance, yes. The prints are high resolution photographs of real materials and the glass adds depth and gloss. Up close it is clearly glass, which most people prefer to the cold, porous feel of real stone.

Will a marble effect splashback stain like real marble?

No. Real marble is porous and marks from wine, oil and lemon juice. The printed panel is glass, so nothing soaks in and everything wipes off.

Is it heat resistant?

Yes. Toughened safety glass with the print sealed on the back, suitable behind gas, electric and induction hobs.

Can I match the splashback to my worktop?

Not exactly, because every slab of real stone is different, but a similar tone usually looks better than an attempted match. Contact us with a photo of your worktop and we will suggest the closest designs.
