Landscape and seascape glass splashbacks

A landscape splashback turns the wall behind the hob into a window. Beaches and beach huts, sunsets over the sea, snowy mountains, lakes and yachts at anchor, each printed in high resolution onto toughened safety glass so the horizon stays sharp across the full width of the panel.

Wide panels suit these designs best, because the image has room to breathe. A 900mm or 1000mm panel behind a range cooker or a full run between worktop and wall units shows the scene properly. The print is sealed behind the glass, protected from heat and steam, and the front is plain glass that wipes clean.

Beach and seascape designs are a natural fit for coastal homes and for kitchens decorated in whites, pale blues and driftwood tones. Mountain and lake scenes suit kitchens with darker units and timber worktops.

Which size shows a landscape best?

The widest you can fit. Landscape images are designed for wide panels, and 900mm or 1000mm widths show the full scene. On narrow panels the image is cropped to the centre.

Can I see how the image will crop at my size?

Yes. Contact us with the size you want and we will send a proof showing how the scene sits on that panel before you order.

Will sunlight fade a sunset design?

No. The print is on the back of the glass with UV stable inks and does not fade, even in a kitchen with a lot of direct sunlight.

Is it suitable behind a hob?

Yes. Toughened safety glass with the print sealed on the back, suitable behind gas, electric and induction hobs.
