Custom glass splashbacks: your image, your colour, your size

When nothing in the range is quite right, we will make it. Upload a photograph, a piece of artwork or a pattern and we print it onto toughened glass. Give us a paint reference and we match it. Tell us a size outside the standard range and we cut to it. The finished panel is the same toughened safety glass as everything else we make, with the image or colour sealed on the back.

Custom image splashbacks suit family photos, holiday landscapes, a favourite painting or a brand graphic in a commercial kitchen. Custom colour splashbacks match RAL, Dulux, Farrow and Ball and Pantone references, or a physical sample you send us. Both are made in our West Lancashire workshop.

Custom panels take a little longer than stock sizes because each one is made individually. We check your file or colour reference before production and will get in touch if anything needs adjusting.

Getting the best result from a custom image

Use the highest resolution file you have. A photo from a modern phone is usually fine up to around 900mm wide. Avoid heavily compressed images from social media or messaging apps. Think about what will sit behind the hob: busy images can look cluttered behind a kettle and toaster, so simpler compositions often work best.

Frequently Asked Questions

What file do I need to supply?

A JPEG, PNG, TIFF or PDF at the highest resolution you have. As a guide, a 12 megapixel photo will print well up to 900mm wide. We check every file before printing and will tell you if it will not hold up at the size ordered.

Can you match my cabinet colour exactly?

Yes. Give us the RAL, Dulux, Farrow and Ball or Pantone reference and we paint to it. If you only have a physical sample, send it to us and we match from that.

How long does a custom splashback take?

Longer than a stock panel, because it is printed or painted to order and then toughened. We confirm the lead time when we check your file or colour reference.

Can a custom panel have cut outs for sockets?

Yes. Provide the positions and sizes of any sockets or switches and we cut the openings before toughening. Cut outs cannot be added after the glass is toughened, so it is important to get the measurements right first time.
