Green glass splashbacks, from sage to emerald

Green has gone from a bold choice to a kitchen staple, and a green glass splashback is an easy way to bring it in without repainting cabinets. Sage and olive tones sit quietly behind cream or wood units. Emerald and kiwi greens make the splashback the centrepiece of a white kitchen.

Each green in this collection is painted onto the back of toughened safety glass. The colour is protected from steam, grease and cleaning products, so it will not fade or stain, and the front face is plain glass that wipes clean. The panels are heat resistant behind gas, electric and induction hobs.

Held in standard sizes and dispatched in 1 to 3 working days from our West Lancashire workshop.

Pairing green with the rest of the kitchen

Soft greens suit brass or copper handles and oak worktops. Deep greens work with black fittings and marble effect surfaces. If your cabinets are already green, choose a splashback a couple of shades lighter or darker so the wall has some definition, or go for a neutral and let the cabinets carry the colour.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which green suits a cream or shaker kitchen?

Sage and olive tones. They have a grey or brown undertone that sits well with cream and painted timber. Bright greens can look harsh against cream, so save those for white or grey kitchens.

Will a green glass splashback date?

Sage and olive have been in British kitchens for decades and keep coming back, so they are a safe long term choice. Brighter greens are more of a statement. Because the splashback is a single panel, it is also far quicker and cheaper to change than tiles if you redecorate.

Can I match the splashback to my cabinet paint?

Not from stock, but the custom colour service will match any RAL, Dulux or Farrow and Ball reference, or a painted sample you send us.

Is the colour the same across the whole panel?

Yes. The paint is applied evenly to the back of the glass and cured, so there are no brush marks, tide lines or variation between panels in the same colour.
