Granite and stone effect glass splashbacks

Granite, slate and natural stone give a kitchen weight and texture, but as a splashback material they are heavy, hard to fit and need sealing against grease. A granite effect glass splashback gives the same look on a light, smooth, wipe clean panel that fixes to the wall with adhesive.

The designs here are high resolution photographs of real materials: gold vein black granite, grey stone, tarnished stone, rusted slate and black brick. Each is printed onto the back of toughened safety glass and sealed, so the front is plain glass that is heat resistant behind any hob and cleans with a cloth.

Where stone effects work

Black granite suits modern kitchens with white or grey units and black fittings. Grey stone and slate suit industrial and rustic schemes with timber worktops. Black brick is the choice for a loft or warehouse look.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does granite effect glass look realistic?

Yes. The prints are photographs of real granite and stone, and the gloss of the glass gives the depth that polished granite has. From normal distance it reads as stone.

Is it heavier than other splashbacks?

No. It is the same toughened glass as every other panel we make, far lighter than real granite and fitted with adhesive rather than mechanical fixings.

Will grease mark a stone effect panel?

No. Real stone absorbs grease unless sealed. The printed glass panel is non porous and wipes clean.

Is it suitable behind a hob?

Yes. Toughened safety glass with the print sealed on the back, suitable behind gas, electric and induction hobs.
