Highland cow splashbacks for country and farmhouse kitchens

The highland cow is our most asked for design, and it is easy to see why. The shaggy coat, the horns and that slightly unimpressed stare suit a farmhouse or cottage kitchen perfectly, and work surprisingly well in a modern one too. This collection brings together every highland cow design we print, from close up portraits to cows in mountain and sunset landscapes.

Each one is printed in high resolution onto the back of toughened safety glass. The coat detail stays sharp at full panel size and the print is sealed behind the glass, so it cannot fade and never comes into contact with heat, steam or cleaning products.

Every highland cow splashback is held in standard sizes and dispatched in 1 to 3 working days.

Where a highland cow splashback looks best

Behind a range cooker in a country kitchen is the classic spot. Pair it with cream or sage units, wooden worktops and brass fittings. In a modern white kitchen, a single large panel behind the hob makes a strong feature against an otherwise plain scheme.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a highland cow splashback heat resistant?

Yes. Like every panel we make it is toughened safety glass, suitable behind gas, electric and induction hobs and range cookers.

Which sizes is it available in?

All standard sizes from 400mm to 1000mm wide. The portrait designs work well on taller panels behind a range cooker. The landscape scenes suit wide panels.

Will the image fade?

No. The print is sealed on the back of the glass, protected from light, heat and cleaning, and looks the same for the life of the panel.

Can I get a matching chopping board?

Yes. A matching toughened glass chopping board is offered as an option on each product page, printed with the same design.
