Art and abstract glass splashbacks

For kitchens that want colour and movement without a literal picture, the art collection covers ink splashes, paint splats, geometric patterns, colour waves, powder explosions, water splashes and typographic designs. They work as a piece of wall art that happens to be wipe clean and heat resistant.

Every design is printed in high resolution onto the back of toughened safety glass, so the edges of a geometric pattern stay crisp and the gradients in an ink wash stay smooth at full panel size. The print is sealed behind the glass and the front is plain glass that cleans with a cloth.

All art designs are held in standard sizes and dispatched in 1 to 3 working days.

Pairing abstract art with a kitchen

Pull one colour from the design and repeat it somewhere else in the room, in a kettle, bar stools or a blind, and the splashback will look intentional rather than random. Keep worktops and units plain. Geometric designs suit modern kitchens; ink and paint splashes suit anything from industrial to Scandinavian.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the geometric designs printed straight?

Yes. Each design is set out square to the panel edges before printing, so lines and grids sit level once the panel is fitted level.

Will an abstract design go out of fashion?

Less so than a specific image, because there is nothing in it to date. If you do want a change later, a single panel is far quicker to swap than tiles.

Is the print heat resistant behind a hob?

Yes. Toughened safety glass with the print sealed and cured on the back, suitable behind gas, electric and induction hobs.

Can I upload my own artwork?

Yes. The custom image splashback prints your own painting, illustration or graphic the same way. Supply the highest resolution file you have.
