Printed Glass Splashbacks to match every kitchen
Printed Glass Splashbacks to Match Every Kitchen
UV-stable digital printing is applied directly to the back face of the toughened glass. The image never touches the kitchen environment. Moisture, grease, heat from cooking, and whatever cleaning product you reach for cannot get to the print, because there is a sheet of toughened safety glass sitting in between. Walk past it in five years and the colours will look exactly the same as they did when it first went up.
Most printed alternatives do not work this way. Vinyl wraps sit on top of a surface and eventually lift at the edges. Printed tiles have exposed grout lines and a porous substrate that absorbs grease over time. Even good-quality printed wall panels will show wear in a kitchen environment. A printed glass splashback is not just visually cleaner than those options. It physically outlasts them.
What Designs Are Available?
The range runs to over 118 designs. Marble and stone effects are the most popular, but the collection also covers landscape and nature photography, geometric patterns, food and spice imagery, abstract textures, and animal designs. Every design is available across the full standard size range, so finding the right fit for a wall or hob alcove is straightforward.
If nothing in the collection lands quite right, the custom print option lets you upload your own image instead. A high-resolution photograph, a piece of artwork, an illustration. It gets printed onto toughened glass in any standard size, and because the process is identical to the standard range, the durability is too. Custom print orders come with adhesive included and free nationwide delivery, same as everything else.
Printed vs Painted Glass Splashbacks
Painted glass splashbacks are a single solid colour applied to the back of the glass. Printed splashbacks carry an image or pattern. The question is simple: do you want a design, or do you want a colour? Both use toughened glass, both come with adhesive included, and both ship on the same one to three working day timeline. If it is a design you are after, this is the right collection. If it is a specific solid shade matched to your kitchen, the painted range covers that.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will the print on a glass splashback fade?
Will the print on a glass splashback fade?
No. The design is printed onto the back of the glass, not the front. UV-stable inks, fully sealed behind a sheet of toughened glass, protected from everything a kitchen throws at it. Sunlight, steam, cleaning chemicals. None of it reaches the print. It will not fade, peel, or deteriorate over time.
Can I use a printed glass splashback behind my hob?
Can I use a printed glass splashback behind my hob?
Yes. The glass is toughened and heat resistant, so it is safe behind both gas and electric hobs. The print is cured and sealed on the back face of the glass, so direct heat from cooking does not affect the design or colour quality. This is a standard kitchen application, and the glass handles it without any issue.
What is the difference between printed and custom print splashbacks?
What is the difference between printed and custom print splashbacks?
Printed splashbacks use designs from the existing collection. Custom print is where you supply the image. A photograph, an illustration, any artwork with a high enough resolution, and it gets printed onto toughened glass in your chosen size. If you see something in the range you like, that is the straightforward option. If you want something that does not exist in any collection, go custom.
Will the design look pixelated on a large splashback?
Will the design look pixelated on a large splashback?
Not from our collection. Every design is a high-resolution file selected specifically because it scales to full splashback dimensions without losing sharpness. For custom uploads, we recommend a minimum of 300 DPI at the intended print size. If you are not sure whether your image will work, get in touch before ordering and we can check it.
